MEET YOUR THERAPIST:

Meet Adam

I was just 5 years old when I climbed onto my first horse. At the time, I had no idea that a single ride would shape the course of my entire life.

Throughout high school, I split my time between working on local horse farms and playing football. After graduation, I continued pursuing my passion for horses by riding on an IHSA collegiate equestrian team, where my knowledge and appreciation for horsemanship continued to grow.

That journey eventually took me to the Adirondack Mountains of New York, where I worked as a trail guide leading horseback rides through some of the most beautiful country in the Northeast. It was there that I discovered my love for rodeo.

Wanting to deepen my knowledge of the equine industry, I transferred to the University of Findlay, where I earned my Degree in Equine Science while continuing to compete on the university’s IHSA equestrian team. My education gave me a strong foundation in equine anatomy, physiology, nutrition, behavior, biomechanics, and overall horse management.

After college, I worked on several horse farms up and down the East Coast, gaining hands-on experience with horses from a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Eventually, I settled in Pennsylvania, where I met my wife while working on a horse farm. Together we’ve built a wonderful family and are raising our two children.

For a few years, horses took a back seat to family life—until my daughter discovered the same passion that had captured me decades earlier. She climbed onto her first horse at just 2½ years old, and just like that, I found myself right back where it all began.

As I coached her, rode alongside her, and watched her develop into a competitive young rider, my passion for equine performance and health grew stronger than ever. I became committed to learning not only how horses perform, but why they perform the way they do.

That commitment led me back to school, where I earned advanced certifications in Equine Biomechanics, Equine Sports Massage Therapy, and Equine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapy (EMFT). Today, I continue to pursue advanced education because I believe every horse deserves care that is based on science, experience, and a genuine understanding of how the equine body functions.

That philosophy became the foundation of Topline Performance Horse Therapy LLC.

My mission is simple: to help horses move more freely, recover more efficiently, and perform at their highest potential through evidence-informed, whole-horse therapy. Whether your horse is a weekend trail companion or a high-level performance athlete, my goal is to identify the underlying cause of restrictions—not just treat the symptoms—and provide individualized care that helps them feel, move, and perform their best.

Because every horse gives us everything they have. They deserve nothing less in return
